User Friendly Pilates in El Cerrito at Tatami Multi Arts
User Friendly Pilates is an approach developed by Ernie Adams integrating Pilates, Yoga, Feldenkrais®, and Dance. Discover how to exercise with the proper awareness and mental focus to get fit without getting hurt and improve performance in dance, Yoga, sports, fitness, and martial arts.

Your core muscles, the deepest abdominal, lumbar and pelvic floor muscles, protect your spine and prepare you for strenuous activities. Discover easy walking techniques, improve balance, and learn how to use trekking poles for fitness and safety.We begin on a level grassy area doing gentle stretches, explore movement lessons that turn your feet into balance sensors, and introduce trekking poles. We will take a short break (bathrooms available) and then do a 60-minute walk in gentle hills, taking breaks to rest, get feedback, and practice movement lessons. Prerequisite: Be able to walk unassisted on gentle hills up to 1.5 miles. Mats & Poles provided.
